Description

A dramatic low bench composed of two opposing curved volumes in charcoal-grey ash with a pronounced cerused, mountain-grain finish. The boat-like upper shell holds a piped rectangular cushion in pale greige linen, and rests on an inverted arch base that springs upward like a bridge. The interplay of dark, chalk-rubbed wood grain and soft neutral textile is boldly graphic yet warm. Its sculptural stance makes it a statement at a bed end, entryway or dressing area.
